Repair or rebuild
If the framing and pilings are sound, repairs make sense. If they are not, we show you why and quote a new dock instead.
Good to know
On a dock in salt water, fasteners are often the first thing to go. Stainless or hot-dip galvanized hardware holds up far better than plain steel.
Soft boards are a warning, not just a nuisance. Rot in the decking often means the framing underneath has taken on water too, so we check below the deck before we quote.

Questions about dock repair
Do dock repairs need a permit?
Some do and some do not, depending on the work and the address. We tell you which apply at the estimate.
Can you change my dock for a bigger boat?
Often, yes. It depends on the pilings, the slip, and the permits. We check all three on the site visit.
Do you work on composite decks?
Yes, repairs and board replacement on composite decks.
Can you add a catwalk?
Yes. Catwalks are part of what we build, including a walkway beside the lift so you can get on and off the boat.
