Boat lift repair in Naples and Marco Island
When a lift will not go up, runs crooked, or starts making a new noise, it needs a look before the next trip, not after it.
We repair cables, motors, gearboxes, bunks, guide-ons, and remotes on major lift brands across Collier County. If you are out of town, we can meet your property manager or house watcher and call you with what we find.

What we work on
Most lift problems trace back to a handful of parts. We check all of them on a repair visit, not just the one that failed.
- 1Motor and gearboxMotors that hum but will not turn, and gearboxes that grind, slip, or leak.
- 2Top beamCorrosion and loose hardware on the beams that carry the load and the cable winders.
- 3Lift cableFrayed, kinked, or unevenly wound cables, replaced as a set when they need it.
- 4Guide-onsBent, loose, or missing guide posts that help you line up the boat.
- 5BunksWorn bunk boards and carpet, bunks reset so the hull sits evenly, and bunks moved to fit a new boat.
- 6Cradle beamThe beams under the boat, checked for corrosion and for level.
- 7PilingsChecked for marine borer damage and rot. Piling wrap or replacement when needed.
- Remotes and switchesRemotes, wall switches, and limit switches. Wiring to the lift is done by a licensed electrical contractor.
Signs your lift needs attention

- One side lifts faster than the other, or the boat sits crooked.
- The motor hums but the lift does not move.
- The lift stops partway up, or will not come down.
- Grinding, clicking, or a noise you have not heard before.
- Broken strands, rust, or kinks in a cable.
- The breaker trips when you run the lift.
- The remote works some days and not others.
- Bunk boards are cracked, or the carpet is worn through.
If a cable looks frayed or the lift is lifting unevenly, stop using it and call.

Questions about lift repair
Which lift brands do you work on?
We install and service major lift brands. Tell us the brand and model when you call, or text a photo of the motor label, and we will tell you whether we can help.
Can you look at my lift while I am out of town?
Yes. We can meet your property manager or house watcher, or work with access you set up, and call you with what we find.
Should I keep using a lift that is acting up?
If a cable is frayed or the lift is lifting unevenly, stop using it and call. Running a damaged lift can turn a small repair into a bigger one.
Do you replace whole lifts?
Yes. If a repair does not make sense for your lift, we will tell you and give you a written estimate for a new one.
What should I have ready for the visit?
The lift brand and model if you know it, the boat's make and length, and any photos or video of the problem.
